Creating a Simulation with Captivate

First, use Captivate to create your simulation. If you’re not sure how to create a simulation, read Tom Green’s article, From Demonstration to Simulation in Captivate.

  1. Start Captivate.
  2. Select Record or create a new movie.
  3. Select the movie type (in this case, Application). Press Record to start capturing your session.
  4. When you’re done capturing your session, press the End key.
  5. At the end of your capture session, you will see the frames that comprise your simulation in Captivate in Storyboard view (Figure 1).
