Use the Source view to change In and Out points

When you use the Source view in Adobe® Premiere® Pro 1.5 to change the In and Out points of a clip that’s already in a sequence, adjacent clips may prevent you from extending the duration. In this case, adjust the clip directly in the Timeline window or by using the Trimming window.

Set In and Out points in the Timeline

To set In and Out points around selected clips in the Timeline window, select one or more contiguous clips and choose Marker > Set Marker Sequence > In and Out Around Selection.
