Abstract Christmas wallpaper
In this tutorial we will create abstract Christmas wallpaper using Photoshop techniques and trick.
Final Image Preview
Create anew layer with 567×300 px and 72 dpi. Apply the next tool to represent a background and don’t forget about the parameters. They are indicated next image.
Blending Options-Gradient Overlay
Gradient’s parameters.
Take the next tool to picture an element of white color.
Make use now of another instrument to picture 6 circles of white color (a snowman)
Having the same instrument, insert also two circles of black color.
Take the indicated tool to represent a circle colored in FF0000.
Take now another instrument to represent a snowman’s hat colored in E93737.
Don’t forget about placing correctly the layers.
Apply the previous instrument and picture the fur on this hat that must have this color – DADADA.
Applying the same instrument, it’s possible to insert a lot of new elements painted in white, like in the picture below (copying the basic figure’s layer)
Using the next tool represent another picture with these sizes.
Blending Options-Gradient Overlay
Gradient’s parameters.
Copy this new layer eight times, but erase the effect in the copied layers. Make use of Free Transform option to minimize it and place everything out like in the next picture. Set out the indicated color – F68567.
Apply again Free Transform option to make the corresponding changes. Place out like it is done below. Set out the shown color – F89A80.
Use Free Transform selection again for the necessary removals and changing. Make everything look like in the next picture. The color must be this one: F9B8A2.
Make the necessary changes with the same Free Transform option. The color must be FAC6B1.
Combine all the layers now in a group, composing the fir-tree’s silhouette. Hide temporarily the group on the layers.
Take again the popular instrument to picture another figure colored in AF1015.
Hide provisionally this layer.
Apply Free Transform selection to make changes on the rest of the copied layers. The next layer must be placed exactly like in the next picture with the color E21B22.
Show again the hidden layer before.
Make changes on the other copied layers with Free Transform option. Set out the color E21B22.
Insert the same color and apply Free Transform option for the necessary removals and changing.
Make use of the same color (Free Transform again)
Show now the hidden provisionally group and situate it above the new made one.
Make use of this tool to picture 5 circles of white color, like in the next picture.
