Fill 0% on the layers
Blending Options>Gradient Overlay

Merge down now in a common group all the layers and the groups composing the left spectacles’ glass. Make a copy of this group and select again the Free Transform option to turn the copy over the way it is demonstrated next image.

    Not liking this tutorial very much. It’s missing a few things that throws off students trying to go along with this tut. Many in my class cannot understand this past page 3.
