Make a copy of the layer containing the ornament on our ball and choose again Free Transform selection to enlarge the copy a little. Place out the copy the same way demonstrated next picture:

Next we shall represent on the upper part of the ball a flare, using the Ellipse Tool (U) which shape is possible to correct with the Convert Point Tool.

The layer’s parameters: Fill 0%
Blending Options>Gradient Overlay

Gradient’s parameters:

Select next the Custom Shape Tool (U) and try to choose out of the next table the appropriate pattern to represent a lot of small stars of white color:

Using the same method and the same tool, it’s possible to insert on our picture several more stars of different colors.

Now we shall work with the upper part of the ball, applying the Rectangle Tool (U). This new layer should be placed lower than the ball’s primary layer on the layers’ panel:

The layer’s parameters: Blending Options>Gradient Overlay

Hi,
i saw this tutorial and i tried to design a flyer like this on my own. But becaus of the fact that i´m a total nubb in Adobe i did´nt manage to creat something usefull.
Now i want to know if i can use your image.
I dont want to use it for comercial, but i want to create a advent flyer, with which i want to invite to our CVJM- Advent – Party.
your faithfully

The tutorials are too good!!
But if we try to do it, it doesn’t give an elegant look.
Kindly share full tutorials.
