Make three copies of the changed button and select again Free Transform option to situate the copies the same way indicated next image:

Using the Rectangle Tool (U), it’s possible to draw above the button a white line, to get the same image from below:

    It is a great tutorial, and very well explained. However like many other tutorials around the web it lacks the next stage - converting this design to XHTML and CSS. It would be nice to see how the concept can be made into reality.
