Blending Options>Stroke
On the next layer we shall continue representing the player’s screen, selecting again the previous tool with a radius of 5 px too. The layer has black color.
The layer’s parameters: Blending Options>Stroke
Insert now the picture of the video file on the screen’s zone:
Now it’s time to draw the top part of the media player’s screen. Chose also the Rounded Rectangle Tool (U) with the radius of 5 px and then apply the Convert Point Tool for changing the placement of the lowest element’s tops, as it demonstrated below:

after you design this player in CS3 my question is, how you can give it “life”, how can you create from this a 100% working player?
if i use java can i insert this skin to work with?

Now that I have created my music player using PS, how do I apply the working functions i.e. songs, stop, play, scroll, etc

Guys, you have to “give it life” with a programming language, Java, ActionScript, C#, C++.. much more. This is simply a tutorial on how to design one.
