Natures sunshine

Learn how to create the sunburst shape and simply apply effects on the pictures.

For the beginning create a new file with 1280×1024 px and 72 dpi. Using the Rectangle Tool (U), try to make a rectangle comprising the while canvas. 

Select now Blending Options>Gradient Overlay (making a mouse click on the layer we work with on the layers’ palette) and set the next shown parameters:

 

Gradient Editor:



We should get the next image:



Next we have to select the Pen Tool (P) to represent the primary plan of the hills.



Create next the second plan, placing it under the first layer. The color applied in this case is #FFFFFF



Select the next indicated parameters Blending Options – OuterGlow:

 

Blending Options – Inner Glow:



We should get the next result. This way we represent the falling light on the hills.



Next we’ll represent the next plan:



Select this option for the last layer: Blending Options>Outer Glow
