Umbrella Corporation logo

The Umbrella Corporation is a fictional bioengineering pharmaceutical company appearing in the Resident Evil series of survival horror games by Capcom and in its film adaptions. In this Adobe Photoshop tutorial we will create Umbrella Corporation logo.
For the beginning create a new file (File>New) of 1280×1024 px and 72 dpi. Using the Paint Bucket Tool (G), fill the new layer with black color.
Next we’ll represent a kind of geometrical figure, like the next one, applying the Pen Tool (P).
Make several copies of the last made element, placing the copies the way you may see below. The copies may be done, pressing the combination of buttons (Ctrl+J). The turning over and the elements’ corrections may be done with (Ctrl+T).
Changing the color of four figures, we’ll get an umbrella.
Set the next shown parameters for each element, making a mouse click on the layer in layers’ palette (Blending Options>Inner Glow).
Choose the next Pattern Overlay now:
Blending Options>Stroke
You should get the next result:
Change the Blending Options>Stroke parameter on the white color on four next shown figures:
Create a new layer and fill it with black color. Select also Filter>Render>Clouds
Select now Filter> Sharpen>Unsharp Mask and set the next demonstrated parameters:
It’s the result you should get on this stage:
Set the next Blending mode – Soft Light
Try to get the same thing:
Create a new layer on which we’ll paint once again the red figures, getting a more intensive color:
Change the Blending Mode with those from below:
It’s the result we’ve got:
Now we should write the text we want to have on the wallpapers:
Choose the next demands, demonstrated below:
The final result is this one!

This is great. But I just wondered how to create the geometrical figure (triangle) from scratch. Any tutorial on those? I am a photoshop newbie. Thanks

Hi I hope this helps.. Click polygon tool (under the rectangle tool. and in the top bar where it say sides put 3. this will make it draw a triangle. and draw a triangle. after that click add anchor point tool (under the pen tool submenu) and click right in the middle of the horizontal line of the triangle. (this will add an anchor point in the middle of the path. after that click the direct selection tool (the white arrow) (under path selection tool) now using that tool click on the anchor point you just added and pull it down. this will make the curve you needed.

Step 2

Step 2: make the triangle with three points using the pen tool. To add a curve on the top of the triangle just add a fourth point on the line between the top two points of the triangle. You do this by clicking anywhere on that path line with the pen tool. Click down on that point will holding option (or alt) a drag that point either LEFT or RIGHT (depending on the direction that you created the triangle) which makes this point a handle. Now you can drag that handle down to make a curve.

Hello everyone for the people that cant work with the pen tool go to custom shape tool ( under the regular retangle/elipse tool )
and click on the list u see lots of custom tools 1 looks exactly like the triangle used here add kiiddo1 for more tips on skype
