Using the same tool, try to make the rivet itself.

Getting a better result is possible if combining together in a group both layers composing the rivet (press Ctrl button to mark out the corresponding layers and hold on the left mouse’s button while taking them on Create a new group option). Make a copy of the represented group and select Free Transform option to place the copy the way demonstrated below:
Create a new layer which must be placed above the Curves layer, but under the logotype’s layers. Using the Pen Tool (P) and the Convert Point Tool, try to make the bottom part of the logotype.
Make a copy of this layer and select the Free Transform option to turn over the copy, placing it as below. The copy’s layer must be situated above the previous layer:
Put together both layers of the logotype’s basis into a rasterized layer (pressing Ctrl button and marking out the corresponding layers and finally press Ctrl+E). Set the next parameters for the rasterized layer: Blending Options>Drop Shadow
Blending Options>Inner Shadow
Blending Options>Bevel and Emboss
Blending Options>Color Overlay
Blending Options>Pattern Overlay (the set of Patterns II textures)
Blending Options>Stroke

Make a kind of deepening under the logotype. Create a new layer above the Curves effect on which we’ll apply the Rectangular Marquee Tool (M) (the circle option) The top part of the circle should be painted with the usual Brush Tool (B) of black color and the lowest part – with the white color.

Absolutely LOVE it and moved in here for the day! I do hate the pen tool so did my own different logo for the Afghan Hound club so hope they like it too
(hehe…I ride too so hope it’s ok to use your wallpaper when I get sick of seeing 101 renditions of Afghans :).
