Create a galactic girl photo manipulation in Photoshop
January 4th, 2010 by ART-D Posted in Adobe Photoshop, Photo Editing
Using the Pen Tool (P) in Shape Mode, try to make the shape, applying the earlier described method.

For this layer click on Add a layer style icon from bottom part of the Layers panel and select Inner Glow:

Apply Gradient Overlay

Click in the color bar to open the Gradient Editor and set the color stops as shown. Click OK to close the Gradient Editor dialog box.

We’ve got the next result:

Create a new layer and select here the Soft Round brush to represent the reflection on the girl’s body the same way as below. The brush’s colors are red and violet (Opacity 15%).

This layer will be situated under the layer containing the shape.

Press Alt button and click between the layers on the Layers’ panel to apply this effect just for the girl’s layer:

We’ve got the next result:

Create a new layer and choose for it a Soft Round brush to paint the girl’s body with different colors.

Make some brushstroke with colors and Opacity as shown:

Press Alt button and click between the layers on the Layers’ panel to apply these colors just for the girl’s layer:

Set Blending mode to Color for this layer

Make two copies of the layer containing the shape and then press Free Transform (Ctrl+T) command to turn over the copies the same way demonstrated below. Place the copies’ layers lower than the very first shape’s layer:

Apply different Opacity for the copies’ layers:

Now we should click on each copy’s layer on the bottom part of the Layers’ panel on Add layer mask icon and choose the Soft Round brush of black color to clean out the copies’ layers, selected below:

Make some brushstroke to clean the indicated zone

We’ve got the next result:

Create a new layer again above the previous one, but lower than the layer containing the red element (on the girl’s body). Select on this layer the next brush from grunge procedural set. The brush’s colors are black and white.

Make some brushstroke using black and white color as shown

Select for the layer with the brush the next filter – Filter>Blur>Gaussian blur

We’ve got the next result:

Add another adjustment layer. Select Create new fill or adjustment layer icon from bottom part of the Layers panel and click to Curves to adjust the curve shape as shown:

This layer will be placed above all the previous layers.

On a new layer (Create new layer) we’ll apply the Hard Round brush and Soft Round brush of white color with different brush size to represent many dots, the same way demonstrated next picture.
