Light gray text effects
This is the 2nd tutorial from “Text Effects” series.
So let’s get right to business.Create a new document along with new layer.
Fill the layer with light gray.
And as a second step, overlay this layer with simple standard rough bordered gradient.
Use these settings:
Here we have it. A simple, but beautiful effect. One more thing: use inner glow layer style on this gradient too.
This was the background. And now insert the text.
Use these layer styles:
Here we have it. And final layer order. Note that the fill is turned down to 0%.
Now you just can write or even paint with brush tool the type and the brush will have the same layer style settings already.
We get this result.
Add a little bit of text.

And a little bit of color correction (if it even needs one).
