Photoshop abstract
Today we are going to make cool abstract wallpaper. In this one I’m going to use Standard Photoshop features and maybe a little bit of custom hand painting.
So let’s begin. Create a document with 1024×768 resolutions and a layer.
Now let us play with gradients (on a new layer).
Overall layer options, I’ve filled the area with this gradient several times (4 times exactly). Maybe need to change a little bit of the opacity.
Yea, this is the color I like.
Now make a copy of our key layer and apply several filters on it.
I’ve used the Wind filter with these settings:
?.and the result is this:
Use Gaussian Blur. We should get rid of these blast lines.
I also want to use Noise on this layer:
Some color Correction by making an Adjustments Layer.
Now it is time to paint a little.
Brush choice and settings:
This is an abstract wallpaper so it isn’t really important what will you paint there.
Use Twirl Filter, also set layer mode to Linear Dodge.
Note the layer position:
And here what we have come to.
I’ve added an effect to my layer ? all the settlings there are quite standard.
Note the mode and Redial form.
Create a gradient layer and set it right here:
Final steps: use any shadow/highlights correction. And we are done here!
Our abstract (more like Psychedelic) wallpaper is done!
Enjoy and Share it with your friends!
