Web pages can be converted easily into PDF documents complete with links and media content such as SWF files. In addition, Windows users can create PDF documents directly with Microsoft IE and can make PDF pages from a combination of links on a single web page. This is a great way to utilize a variety of web-based activities offline. Students can interact with the PDF document as though they are connected to the web. Teachers can refresh the PDF version when needed to assure the content matches its web source.
